Biography
Nací en 1982, en Trelew, pero soy de Puerto Madryn, donde viví toda mi infancia y adolescencia. Crecí entre el mar y el desierto patagónico.
Al terminar el colegio, me vine a Buenos Aires, estudié algunas cosas, hasta que me decidí por la foto fija. Viví en Córdoba, donde realicé una Tecnicatura en Fotografía. Al regresar a Buenos Aires, la vida me llevó a conocer amigas artistas y ahí comienza mi interés por el arte.
Vision of art

Creo que todas mis obras me representan. Son parte de mí. Generalmente, realizo mi obra en temporada de verano, ya que casi todo mi trabajo se centra en escenas en la playa o desierto patagónico. Me apropio del contexto en el que me crié, utilizándolo como escenario para mis musas.
2. In general terms, how would you suggest to approach your work?
Descontracturadamente.
3. In reference to your work and your position in the national and international art fields, what tradition do you recognize yourself in? Who are your contemporary referents? What artists of previous generations are of interest to you?
Me reconozco en la tradición de la fotografía. Me gusta la obra de Vanessa Beecroft, Rineke Dijkstra, Sally Mann, Diane Arbus, entre otras.
4. Choose works or exhibitions from the last ten or fifteen years which in your opinion were very significant and explain why
Me es significativa la obra de Maricel Nowacki, por su frágil belleza.
