The David and The Copy) (junio de 2008)

The David and Copy was a project carried out in June 2008 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in the city of Bahia Blanca. For him to use a room for one of David and the outside of David Museum for raw clay.

The David who was in the room was built with plastic, plastic bags and tapes.

The exterior was made of clay raw material that interested me because it has the particularity of dehydrating go with the passing of days, one consequence of this is the breakdown of the parts.

That David cracked, damaged, alluded to images of ruins we see today, only this was a sculpture created from the outset as a ruin.

Material and temporal space between the two parts to refer to what remains of the past, while offering an imaginary window where he could be glimpsed a view of our present, from an imaginary future.
