Vision of art
1. Choose a work that represents you, describe it in relation to its format and materiality, its relation with time and space, its style and theme; detail its production process.
I don't have any representative work. Recently my work is video in colors and drawings on paper. A lot of animations, lot of color pencils in intermittent and mixed periods in time 2, 3, 3, 5, 1, prawns, flamingos, landed planes, swans, pines, black floating cars and walks by a river in spring, summer and Autumn. The time could pass between some lovely vacations near a resort shore with palm trees and an invitation for a shared time of equal characteristics as the already mentioned in full color print with Rtte: Av. Leandro N. Alem 668 8 Floor Of. “B”- CABA.
3. In reference to your work and your position in the national and international art fields, what tradition do you recognize yourself in? Who are your contemporary referents? What artists of previous generations are of interest to you?
I don't know which is my position in the artistic fields either.
Some Artists that I'm recently interested with: Francis Allÿs, Michael Snow, Chantal Akerman, Jeff Koons, Carlos Amorales, Heiner Goebbels, Psíquicos Litoraleños, Capitanes del Espacio, John Waters, Benito Laren, Andy Warhol, Takeshi Kitano, Harun Farocki, Thomas Hirschhorn, Jim Finn, Lux Lindner, Fernanda Laguna, César Aira, Fabián Casas, Gertrude Stein, Martín Gambarotta, Ezequiel Alemian.
4. Choose works or exhibitions from the last ten or fifteen years which in your opinion were very significant and explain why
Rosa Chancho's (Piggy Pink) retrospective in Appetite, 2008. I lost the opening day so I went to visit assisted with Osias Yanov, a rosachancho. I've went through the broken paper tunnel entry/transition where Appetite would change temporary into spaces and sensations mix of funfair and horror house, or the horror house inside the funfair. The asepsis chamber (Osias very dedicated, could not stop putting Lisoform to it) with the piano playing and the cracked but entire porcelain plate of Rosa Chancho. The tour through a Gallery of hairy and ghostly portraits, the rosachancho? Then another tunnel, the scary one with a blood traction car. Don't look backwards: “Never look backwards”. The tunnel-hole-passageway with a water extractor bomb. The exit, the light, lights and TE NE FE (have faith) the final message in three RGB half balls.
