Biography
I have been interested in drawing since I was a child. In a self-taught way I started illustrating all the walls at home. This moved my parents to take me to an art school when I was eight years old. There was where I painted the only two oleos of my entire life: a fruit bowl and the Three Wise Men.
During my adolescence I learnt fashion sketches techniques, an activity that increased my curiosity for costumes. I took theatre costume design and dressmaking workshops at the Colón Theatre. I also studied theatre costume design at San Martín Theatre.
I took part of “Buenos Aires no duerme” festival, being in charge of opening the parade with two dresses inspired in Dracula’s nymphs.
I was in charge of costumes for several plays and contemporary dance shows when working at the Dance Company La otra. Some of these plays were: “Una chiva y muchos cuervos”, “Baile de campo” and “Todo lo verde que se extiende, mi amor".
And I have applied all my knowledge and experience to digital photograph retouching. I worked as a digital artist at Estudio Temperley from 1999 to 2008.
In 2008 starts my own studio Marsdepartment - Digital art and Illustration.
During 2009 I took the Fabiana Barreda's art curse.
Between 2007 and 2011 I took comics and drawing classes with Ezequiel García.
And since 2006 to nowadays I'm in "Books and movies", curse of literature and films from the English speaking countries with Valeria Iglesias.
Most of my work is based on cinema.
