Vision of art
1. Choose a work that represents you, describe it in relation to its format and materiality, its relation with time and space, its style and theme; detail its production process.
“When an artist produces work, makes “symptoms”. And so Maximilian invents the drawing machine, to chart his own amorous orbit. Thus, he goes through the route that leads to love dreams escorted by his invention, protected by a stroke that allows him not to get lost while insistently reminds him where he comes from. In his line, is the lover who acknowledging the risks, wonders the fate as he draws. The trail that he leaves is also a thread that binds, a tie line, but in return it connects. His map, like any other, helps him to see the world, although the intention of the one who builds it, is to forget about it, finding a new one. The aim is to hold a loving map that allows him safe travel through a road, like all, full of accidents. His map is his own footprint, because whoever leaves a trail, wants to be found. That's why the invention of Maximiliano points onto his fascination with the impossible, because the paths that love walks, is unpredictable. The failure in love lies in the fact that it is never fully found and this very lack enables the desire to fall in love. As a crossroads, love also includes the risk of diversion. A loving atlas allows a constellation of routes and the choice can be a torment. To choose implies losing, and the machine of Maximiliano, promises the confusing return over its footsteps.
In Hansel and Gretel, Brothers Grimm narrated an attempt of infanticide. In the original version of the story, the brothers are abandoned by their mother who cannot feed them. The path of white pebbles left in their passing meant so much to live as to die by going back to where they were unwanted. For any of us, taking back the steps also raises the risk of losing any other decent traveled directions. Even the shortcuts.
Love survives in those who do not abandon the expectation of finding it. May love those who can, because they want to. Maximiliano loves because his line includes a groove which is simultaneously trench and path towards the essence of his passion”.

2. In general terms, how would you suggest to approach your work?
It's me and my things, I am my topic because it is the closest thing I have, it is only a question of proximity and familiarity. In short, art is for me an excuse for action, always linked to a process, a process that connects to my life, my story, my doubts, my obsessions.
3. In reference to your work and your position in the national and international art fields, what tradition do you recognize yourself in? Who are your contemporary referents? What artists of previous generations are of interest to you?
I do not recognize myself into any artistic tradition, I like watching, taking photos, drawing, going to movies, traveling, cooking and eating.
I remember the first exhibition I saw when I first got to Rosario, it was a retrospective of Juan Pablo Renzi.
My friends with their work and words teach me something day by day.
4. Choose works or exhibitions from the last ten or fifteen years which in your opinion were very significant and explain why
